I’m stuck. We are traveling to Paris this summer and the ‘planner’ in me wants to plan for the trip. Things like what to see and where to eat seem important when you’re going across the globe and spending mucho dinero! The ‘wanna be wallflower’ wants to explore and happen upon lovely small bistros and beautiful Parisian gardens! I think I’ll do half & half and plan a couple restaurants and a couple sites to see and let the rest be up to the wind.
Have any of you been to or lived in Paris? We’re trying to not go to the touristy places. Where are you exploring this summer?!

Yay! How exciting! I’d definitely learn to to use the metro–much easier, cheaper, and friendlier than most taxi drivers. My fave parts of my trip were visiting the Louvre, eating crepes on a sidewalk restaurant at a park near the louvre, and spending the day in Versailles. Paris was honestly not my favorite place in Europe, but I may have just had a bad experience. I was there for just a weekend when I studied abroad in college, so I really don’t have many food ideas as we were cheap!! Good luck and have fun planning!
