I’ve had Pharell’s Happy stuck in my head for days and I’ve been loving it! Sophie loves dancing to it so it makes that song even more awesome to me. You choose your own happiness. Happiness means something different for everyone and for me, happiness is my family. Seeing Sophie smile when she wakes up, squeal while she runs in circles around the kitchen or pats Jeffrey’s back when he gets home from work. Happiness is the excitement of Christmas, being with family and the confidence that comes with a new year. There’s a lot to be happy for which is something I have to remind myself of every so often. What’s your happy?

The simple, free things in life really are what matter and make me the most happiest – my kids playing together, their giggles, their smiles, their cuddles!

I had a rough day today in the patience department but once Jeffrey got home and let me have a few minutes of alone time, I loved being with Sophie and everything she did seemed so cute!! I love when I can recognize those special moments without being frustrated or exhausted. ๐

I love that song! I think true happiness is learning to enjoy whatever is around you at the moment — finding the good in your situation and being thankful.

Sometimes it can be tough, for me, Sarah. I’m not sure why but I often feel I’m not doing enough, making enough etc. and it takes me a bit to get back into the mindset of being thankful and happy with what I do have. It’s often a sweet hug or kiss from Sophie that works though. ๐

My kiddos are my happy. Frank coming home after work is my happy. Is that corny after 6 years of marriage?

Happiness IS the TRUTH!! That is the truth ๐
There is SO much that makes me happy, I try not to take anything for granted, even the littlest things make me happy.
Although, it’s quite bittersweet for me that my baby girl is turning NINE tomorrow, I’m happy that I’m going to {well I think} make her day! I’m decorating her room like a Christmas wonderland (we swear she’s one of Santa’s elves), I’m sure I cannot top the ELF’s winter wonderland at the mall, but I’m going to give it a try, because her smile makes me SO happy.
All three of the babies make me happy. My husband makes me happy. Living this life makes me happy.
Your blog makes me happy, I need to visit more.
Happy Humpday!
